There is an old saying that two heads are better than one, which suggests that the majority’s collective wisdom always dwarfs that of the minority, let alone any individual. There are people who believe that for a society to cohere there must be a strong consensus as well as unity and discipline. Therefore we must not overemphasize the importance of critical thinking which is abound to result in confusion and quarrels.
But I don’t agree with this. First, I have no respect for majority’s wisdom. I believe that most people do not usually use their heads, they are also lack of creativity, and therefore are ignorant and prejudiced and often become mobs and stampede easily. Second, anyone who has the creativity will have an important impact on our society. But their wisdom is usually different from the majority’s.
In a word, everything has two sides. What’s more important is that to learn knowledge from different kinds of wisdom and to improve our ability.

议论文怎么开篇提观点
可以写个小实例然后引入
议论文要在开篇提出自己的观点，就应该做到：
第一，必须根据题意要求和对议论事物的感受，有自己精辟的卓见，并形成自己的.判断，有自己的看法，然后提炼出来做文章的论点。也就是说，下笔前应该是成竹在胸，心中有底，知道自己要说什么。
第二，可以单刀直入，提出自己的看法。如“学习要打好基础。“根深才能叶茂”，就是说的打基础的重要性。司马迁如果不在年轻时“读万卷书，行万里路”，能写出流传千古的《史记》吗？达·芬奇小时候如果不在“画蛋”上狠下功夫，后来能成为绘画的一代宗师吗？……
第三，可以用设问的形式，首先提出问题引人思考，然后回答问题，明确观点。引出论题。如“我们要不要奉献呢？当然要。‘先天下之忧而忧，后天下之乐而乐’意味着什么？当然是奉献……”
第四，也可以列举出现今对某一事物或现象的不同看法，然后再提出自己的不同见解。这样也可以开门冈山，明确自己的观点。

有些材料不一定新鲜，但如果考生能别出心裁，从另一角度进行开拓，也能提出新的见解、新的观点。运用发散思维，能开拓思路，扩展视野；运用逆向思维，则能推陈出新。2010年高考语文安徽卷作文以诗“交流四水抱城斜，散作千溪遍万家。深处种菱浅种稻，不深不浅种荷花”为材料。可根据诗歌的后两句体现“因地制宜”的规律，联想到因人制宜、因事制宜、因文制宜，因国制宜，因楼制宜，因价制宜等。也可从水的角度构思，水抱城郭，深处可种菱，浅出可种稻，不深不浅处可种荷花，无水的岸边可住人家。水有上善之德，泰勒说：“水是万物本源。”水影响了整个生态和世界的变迁，由此还可以联想到一切作为本源的东西，如炎黄、风骚、儒家文化圈等。还可从美的`角度立意，本诗用明白简练的语言描绘了吴兴的美景，“美”是从阅读整诗的感受的角度提炼出来的哲理。马克思主义美学观认为“美是主客体的和谐统一”，即“和谐为美”。可以联想五官和谐之美、自然和谐之美、人际和谐之美、国家和谐之美、和谐世界理念。不和谐的是强拆、污染、贸易战争、世界霸权等。

然而，在改革开放的浪潮下，我们见证了太多“野蛮扩展”的故事，听闻了太多“一夜暴富”的神话。在日益浮躁的风气滋养下，太多人充满了贪婪的野心，却缺失了安分守己的基础，以致为追求利益而不择手段。为人如此，公司又何尝不是呢?前有“毒奶粉”，后有“假肉肠”，本质上都是缺乏对产品质量的自信，急功近利，至于倾覆。反观淘宝、华为，在坚守主营业务的基础上稳步扩张规模，终成民营经济的典范。在当今改革进入深水区之际，“工匠精神”“不忘初心”都在对自信的富足感提出要求。如张晓风所言：“倘有荷在心，则长长的雨季何患?”自信就是我们心中的那片荷叶，扎好根才能在雨季过后绽放更艳丽的花朵。
我们每个人都有自己的“荆州”，也都有自己的“荷叶”，自信的人将欲广之，必先安之。
Reading selectively or extensively?
When asked about reading selectively or extensively. People may find it hard to come to consensus due to their different experience and conflicting values.
Those who advocate the ideas of reading selectively believe that you are less likely to win if you don’t excel in one field, since the competition is fierce today. For one thing, time is limited while are numerous. For another, some harmful books can corrupt one’s mind and even cause crimes.
Nevertheless, those who insist on reading extensively hold that people can broaden knowledge and experience by reading widely. First of all, one should always go after a greater achievement. Furthermore, only by reading extensively, can one keep abreast of time. Most important of all, knowledge is the source of power.
On balance, I think we should increase both the quality and quantity of our reading. That is because the significant of good reading cannot be overvalued as well as that of reading extensively.
Many people like watching TV. TV brings the outside world into people’s homes. People say the world is smaller than before because of TV. What is going on in other countries?How do people live in places far away? What sports do people play in other countries?
If you want to know the answers to these and other kinds of questions, just turn on the TV. Of course people can also learn through reading books or listening to the radio,but many say they learn more by watching TV. Why? Because they can listen to and watch it.
TV opens our eyes to the outside world,at the same time also helps to open our minds. TV often gives us new ideas. We learn newer and better ways of doing things.
Encouraging Buying Cars Isn’t Fit For Today
Nowadays, we can often hear the discussion whether buying cars should be encouraged. Some people suggest that we should buy cars. But others claim that driving cars is not a wise idea. As far as I am concerned, I am in favor of the latter opinion.
To begin with, there are few parking lots, so the streets are made narrower by the cars parked along the roads. For example, my father could not find any place to park when we went to the supermarket.
Moreover, many drivers do not obey regulations, because people do not pay enough attention to the rule of traffic. For instance, I often see people cross the road when the traffic lights are still red.
Last but not least, the growth of new roads’construction is usually slower than the increasing number of cars. For example, the length of the road has gone up by 20% in . However, the number of cars increased by 50% in the meantime.
From what have been discussed above, we could draw a conclusion that encouraging buying cars is not fit for today.

As we all know , there is a big differencebetween big cities and small cities .
I prefer to study in the big city. BecauseI can learn a lot in the big city. Big cities have rich teaching I can meet people all over the country. And I can learn about different ’ll have more opportunities in the big city.
But I don’t like living in a big city. Itis true that big cities are economically developed which offers various jobopportunities and the traffic is very convenient. The cost of living here is high and it’s , the air pollution and bad living environment should be considered .
