my name is liming. i am studying at college. a week ago i saw a traffic accident , which is still vivid in my mind.
it was at about 9:00 on saturday morning, june 15th, when i went out of the university to visit a friend of mine at another university. i was walking leisurely on the sidewalk when i heard a loud crash of two vehicles just at the t-junction about 10 meters away. two taxis crashed together. it was a traffic accident.
i went up and found that the two taxis were badly damaged. both hoofs were out of shape. one door of a car was knocked off and lying on the road. one driver was blooding and another was shut in the taxi. some people were trying to help the driver get out of the damaged car. one man was calling to the traffic policeman station. a lot of cars were jammed on the road.
from the stopping track on the road, it is clear that the two taxis were driving too fast. but it is just one of the reasons. in my opinion, the taxi drivers are eager to take more passengers and make a little more money. on the other hand, both drivers dont show concern for one another. both of them wanted to run in front of another. therefore, the accident is inevitable. so far, we should let the drivers keep it in their mind that a little slower, a little safer. taking care of others lives means taking care of your own life.

The growing tendency among college students to get all kinds of certificates has now evolved into a craze. Just randomly ask a student what he or she is busily engaged in doing, quite possibly, you would get the answer that he or she is preparing for a certificate of some kind. So, whys the craze? The reason behind this phenomenon is common — the enormous pressure of finding a job. Faced with a harsh job market, most students have no choice but to seek more certificates to parlay their qualifications. Another factor is that diploma and certificates still weighs heavily in terms of signifying ones ability. For the sake of increasing their odds of landing a better job, the students are compelled to run from one exam to another. Though I have an open mind toward the craze on certificates, I suggest that students should be more rational when it comes to certificates, since they do not necessarily tell their ability. Instead, they should be more involved in learning and capability boosting, thus, opportunities would come quite naturally.

book is the source of life. when we read a book, we should not only linger on the surface of a book, but also we should(删掉)master its intrinsic. as is charted in the blank, we can see clearly that a majority of the university students in america are addictet(addicted)to the popular fiction, and a minority of student like reading the science, poetry.
why do they like reading popular novels? in my opinion, popular novel books are usually interesting, earthly, close to our lives. in contrast, science, poetry books are usually serious, dull and difficult. therefore, most of the students prefer the popular novels.

Last Sunday was quite a good day with beautiful sunshine. When I was walking in Haikou Park, accidently I found a forieigner walking with his dog. I thought it was a good chance for me to practice my oral english, thus I went apporach to him and introduce myself to him first. He was quite a nice person and he told me his name is . He comes from England to China and He has already lived in Hainan for more than 2 years. We talk lasts for about 20 minutes. We talked about the weather and interesting places in Hainan. I also asked him to give me some advice about how to learn english. He mentioned that listening and speaking are quite important for a student, and thus practice is quite important as well,
I think it was quite a good experience to talk with a foreigner, through which it could improve not only my oral english, but also the skills of making friends. Moreover, I also could gain some knowledge about western culture.

一、多媒体教学是辅助
多媒体――这一现代化的教学工具,以其鲜活的色彩、立体的画面和逼真的音响效果,给人一种赏心悦目、身临其境的感觉,能为学生创造一个轻松愉快的学习氛围。但笔者认为。无论多么妙趣横生的课堂,现代化教学手段这个名词的前面,永远都要加上“辅助”二字。PPT(PowerPoint),是目前我们小学英语教师较为常用的一种实用软件,教师能根据自己的教学需要,把图片文件,音响文件,nash文件等等制作成一张张富有活力的幻灯片,能很好地辅助英语课堂教学。
二、黑板板书是关键
英语教学的学科特点,决定了它不能全部依赖微机和课件,而在这个时候,恰恰只有黑板和粉笔能够起到很好的协调作用。
1发挥板书的示范功能
现在的公开课中,多数教师会将单词、重点句型,预先打印在五颜六色的卡纸或是KT板上,等到用时就贴于不同的位置,五彩缤纷,煞是美观;而在平常课中,则随手板书单词和句型,图的是方便省事。小学生,尤其是低年级的孩子,他们具有较强的模仿能力。如果教师能板书一手漂亮、规范的英文,而且板书设计得整洁、美观,就会为学生树立榜样,潜移默化地培养学生的审美情趣以及认真、严谨的学习态度,提高学生的英语书写技能。笔者认为,小学英语教师应该用一颗平常心,把公开课当成平常课上,把平常课当成公开课上,精心设计好每堂课的板书,从而更好地发挥板书的示范功能。例如,在3A字母教学的时候,每堂课我都会在黑板上划好四线三格,每一个字母教学时,都在格子中做示范,并强调手写体和印刷体的区别,特别足li,Kk,uu,U这些字母。为了增强课堂的趣味性和知识性,我会搜集一些字母缩略词,并下载一些相关的图片来帮助学生记忆。如,
2重视板书的导向功能
(1)主次分明,布局合理
板书设计要从教材内容出发,根据教学目的和教学对象的特点来确定板书的主题和结构。板书的布局要与讲授的内容大体一致,要做到主次分明、突出重点和关键,并有利于分散难点a这样才能使板书真正起到便于学生理解教学内容,促进学生思维和记忆的作用。如教学4A Whose gloves,由于学生容易把特殊疑问词whose中的-se和名词复数形式-es形式相混淆,同时也为了更突出本课的重点句型Whose…js it?it,s…和
(2)帅生台作,力求美观
高尔基说:“人都是艺术家。他无论在什么地方,总是希望把‘美’带到他的生活中去”。一幅新颖别致,富有美感的板书往往能给学生留下难以磨灭的印象。教师在设计板书的过程中,不但要考虑借助板书使学生理解、掌握、深化教学内容,而且要考虑板书的美观性和艺术性。而美观、艺术性强的板书,能使学生在欣赏、享受优美直观形象的同时,进一步理解、掌握和深化教学内容。①牛津小学英语有与之相配套的单词卡片和挂图,教师可以把它们灵活地运用到平时的教学中,把它们作为板书的一部分来使用。一张张色彩鲜明、紧扣主题的卡片和挂图,不失为精美板书的重要组成部分之一;②简笔画的运用。许多学生厌倦了纯英文或是中英相对照的单调的板书,特别是那些弯弯册曲曲的英文,用学生的话说,就象是看“天书”。没意思,不想看,看不懂。简笔画是最适合于在黑板上表达的。有许多很难进行的教学活动在他的加入下,能有效地发挥作用,并可以取得很好地效果。如在教学5B A PE lesson中的人体组成部分时,我课前先在黑板上画了学生们喜闻乐见的一个大大的“喜羊羊”的轮廓,随着教学的不断深入,我依次通过简笔画的形式,把“喜羊羊”图画逐步趋于完整。在轻松愉悦地集绘画和语言学习于一炉的课堂学习过程中,学生始终兴趣盎然,沉浸于美的熏陶中。④巧妙地把图片和单词结合起来,如在教学6BSeasons时,我把单词写在了富有季节特征的图片上,学生在欣赏图片美的同时,轻松而牢固地记忆了四个季节单词。⑤给学生创设“板演”的机会。《英语新课程标准》指出,学生在学习中处于主体地位,强调能主动地进行探究性学习。教师在板书设计的过程中,要考虑到学生主体性的发挥,在黑板上要留有学生板书的一席之地。如在教学前,教师可以让一些美术功底比较好的学生,合作把一些与教学内容有关的简单的插图或是相关图片画到黑板上,简单易行,学生也乐于接受;在教学过程中,可以创设机会,让学生把教师的图画或是句型补充完整。师生配合,共同合作,努力地使每堂课的板书趋于完美。当然,板书在追求美观的同时,要以实用性为原则,不能设计得太花哨,板书设计要为教学服务。
3巧借板书的激励功能
小学英语教学评价的主要目的是激励学生的学习兴趣与积极性。教师在设计板书的时候,可以在黑板的副板书位置(左边或是右边),开辟一个激励角,以学生课上参与英语学习活动所表现的兴趣、态度和交流能力为依据,及时地予以评价。教师通过评价不断地发现课堂教学中的问题;学生通过评价确认自己在课堂教学中的成长表现;学生在学习过程中不断地体验进步和成功,认识自我;教师和学生在不同形式的评价活动中获得信心,从而共同受到激励。课堂上,可以把学生分成若干的小组,教师根据教学内容的需要,为他们取不同的名字,如5AHow many句型教学时,可以把各种已学的水果名称作为各个小组的组名,最后在统计谁是获胜组时,正好可以与本堂课的重点句型相联系,How many apples/oranges,…are there?在每次课堂活动结束之前,获胜组的每位成员均可得到一枚粘贴或是书签等某样小奖品。
一、尊重“生成”
“活动单导学”模式课堂强调的是以学生为主体。既然如此,它就应该尊重学生的个性发展,力争将学生从传统的“认知体”提升到“生命体”的高度。学生作为课堂学习的主人,他们既具有生命的活力,又具有各自不同的个性,因而总是会带着他们各自已有的知识、经验和兴趣参加到我们的英语课堂学习活动之中,所以即使我们的预设再多、再好,也不一定能够完全预见到可能出现的种种情况。因此,我们教师绝不能因为课前做了充分的预设,就觉得大事告成、万事大吉。在瞬息万变的课堂教学中,我们还要学会从“预设”中走出来,尊重并珍视学生各种鲜活灵动的课堂生成。
例如,在一堂牛津小学英语3B unit11的句型英语公开课上,老师提前提出一个问题:“What do you like?”学生并没有直接按照教师预设的那样说出“I like…ing”的句型,有的说“I like apples.”有的说:“I like dolls.”也有的学生说“I like dogs.”。这时,老师并没有直接否定学生的答案,也没有死板地照搬原来的教案,而是在肯定了他的回答之后,巧妙地引出另一个问题:“what sports do you like?”,学生的答案都回到了运动上面。可是有的学生还是不知道like后面要用动词的ing形式,也许在我们平时的课堂上,老师也许会说“No,you are wrong.”或者直接让这个学生坐下去,忽略他的回答。然而,这位老师却回复了一句“I like singing too.”,并把这个句子板书下来,同时把ing用红颜色的笔区别开来,学生很快明白了老师的用意,在经过了多次操练之后,学生很快掌握了这种句型的用法。
二、预设“生成”
预设的学习结果应该是我们英语课堂教学效果的最起码要求。假若你在教学的过程中对是这一底线不能坚守住,而是过于重视预设之外的生成目标,那么,你的教学就极有可能走向了“无目标”的误区。所以,一堂英语课你是否完成了你丰富的“预设生成”,它决定着这一堂课的成败。预设生成,我们不能将它理解成就是去借助学生的嘴,说出老师想要说的话,而是把我们的预设,用生成的状态展示给学生。
例如,一位新教师在新授牛津小学英语4B unit3“What’s your job?”这个句型的时候,她并没有直接给出这个句型,而是先和学生进行口语互动“What’s your name? My name is…”。这两个日常用语学生在三年级的时候就学过,对于四年级的学生而言,这样的对话就非常容易了。接着,这位教师很快提醒到:“当我们想问别人名字的时候,我们可以问…”,这时学生很快大声答道:“What’s your name?”。老师把这句话写到了黑板上,并把name这个词用红笔突显出来,紧接着,她又问学生:“那如果你们想问别人工作是什么,我们可以怎么问呢?”在老师的指引下,聪明的学生们很快发现了这类句式之间的规律。
三、引导“生成”
陶行知说:“教育中要防止两种不同的倾向:一种是将教与学的界限完全泯除,否定了教师主导作用的错误倾向;另一种是只管教,不问学生兴趣,不注重学生所提出问题的错误倾向。前一种倾向必然是无计划,随着生活打滚;后一种倾向必然把学生灌输成烧鸭。”
英语课堂教学中,学生常常不沿着教师的思路去想去说去做,好像总喜欢节外生枝。其实这是因为学生年龄尚小、知识较少和生活经验也不够的原因造成的。英语,对于小学生而言,它是一门崭新的学科,其课堂生成,免不了会存在一定的偏差、缺点甚至错误,课堂教学中,教师不能忽视自身的主导作用,一味地跟着学生的思路走,对学生的学习不作评价,不敢引导。那样,课堂生成的丰富价值就会大打折扣。
例如,一位小学英语教师在教完译林小学英语4上unit2“Do you have…”的句型后,开始教授学生第三单元的重点句子“How many…do you have?”及其应答。在初次呈现这个句型的时候,有的学生还用“Yes,I do.”来回答。面对这种情况,这位教师又重复了一下“how many”,并同时拿出他铅笔盒里的铅笔,开始数起来“one,two,three,…six”,学生也一起跟着数了起来,当学生数完最后一支铅笔时,教师又提问“How many pencils do you have?”。这时,学生立刻报出了数字,并且明白了“how many”是“多少”的意思,同时也知道了该怎么回答这个问题。接着,老师又问一个学生“how many rulers do you have?”,有了上一个问题的训练之后,这个学生很快答了出来。经过老师的引导,再经过小组之间的pair work 操练巩固之后,这个句型学生也就基本上掌握了。
四、拓展“生成”
课堂上,我们经常遇到这样的尴尬:教师正要进行下一个教学环节时,学生会冷不丁冒出一个问题,或补充一种算法,或提出一种异议等,这时,放弃既定环节教学,就会影响教学任务的完成;如果装着没看见,又明显违背了“据学而教”的教育理念。每当这个时候,我们有些教师就会觉得进退两难。而一个注重“以人为本”、真心关注学生发展的教师会本着陶行知“教育不能创造什么,但它能启发儿童创造力以从事于创造工作。”的理念,即使去适当砍掉一些教学环节,削减一些可有可无的教学内容,也要停下前进的脚步,灵活而又敏锐地去抓住这一稍纵即逝的生成点,并加以拓展。
例如,在教授译林版五上第一单元“there is…”和“there are”的句型之后,有同学说“There is a pencil case and a book on the desk.”。这时,突然有个学生举手说:“老师,他错了,应该用there are.因为有两样东西”。面对这个学生的质疑,如果不讲,那就违背了教师授业解惑的宗旨,如果把这个问题拿出来讲,那这节课原本的教学计划就无法完成,再三考虑之后,我还是决定帮助学生们解决这个问题。在通过大量的举例说明之后,学生最终明白了“就近原则”在这个句型中的用法。
一节课的教学任务完成不了,这并无大碍,因为我们还有下节课,然而学生创新火花的迸发却不是周而复始,甚而至于停留在原地的。教学中,许多富有创造性的生成点总是如同黑夜里天空中的流星一般一闪而过,一个时间差,我们就可能错过一次激情和智慧综合生成的良机。

一、给力字母教学,帮助学生奠定英语学习的坚实基础
学生踏上学习英语的旅程是从认识26个字母开始的。字母教学是英语入门的基础,是学生进一步认读单词和句子的前提。因此,它是英语教学的重要内容,其内容主要包括正确辨认26个字母的读音、外形及字母的规范书写。小学三年级学生刚接触英语,对英语总有一种好奇心和神秘感。这种好奇心和神秘感是一种可贵的推动力,对于学习英语来说具有一定的促进作用。但如果教师呆板机械地进行教学,就会让学生感到索然无味,进而抹杀学生原始的学习兴趣。因此,字母教学应引起教师的足够重视,教师应舍得投入精力、利用资源、创设情境,给力字母教学,以激发并保持学生对英语的浓厚兴趣,奠定英语学习的坚实基础。如何使起步阶段的字母教学卓有成效,笔者认为可以从以下两方面做起。
一是教师进行准确的发音示范,学生用心倾听、模仿、感知。字母教学的主要任务就是让学生正确、准确、迅速地识别与认读字母。认读是学习英语字母的基础,好比婴儿的蹒跚学步。如果在起步阶段对26个字母就不能正确认读,就会影响接踵而来的词汇、短语及句子的学习,进而对整个小学乃至中学阶段的英语学习造成严重影响。字母的错误发音一旦形成,成为习惯,即使花很大精力也很难纠正;字母发音将直接对单词的发音造成影响。先听音,后开口,听清发准是字母学习的基本步骤。示范发音、要领指导、反复操练是字母教学的根本方法。笔者在进行字母教学之前,总要多听录音,并弄清楚每一个字母的发音要领。只有这样,才能为学生提供准确的发音示范和发音指导,避免误读现象的发生。在给学生作发音示范时,笔者总是力求做到清晰、准确、缓慢,并不断重复,不断强化,给予充裕的时间让学生进行感知,掌握正确的发音要领,为准确发音做好准备。在示范发音的过程中,笔者尤其注重培养学生看清教师口型、仔细听音的良好习惯。在字母发音训练的过程中,笔者还坚持让学生跟着录音朗读,并仔细观察学生的口型,及时发现学生发音时存在的问题,在第一时间给予纠正。对于模仿得好的学生加以表扬,并热情鼓励其示范领读。
二是教师精心地进行书写指导,学生认真观察、书空、临写。小学阶段英语字母的书写同字母的认读一样重要,对学生今后的英语书写会产生重要的影响。因此,字母书写不容忽视,在起步阶段就要“严”字当头,从“规范”抓起,严格要求学生遵照规范书写,写出规范、漂亮的字母。在进行字母教学时,笔者总是耐心细致地对学生进行正确示范和书写指导,让学生明白字母的大小规格、宽窄高低,掌握其书写笔顺。笔者认为最有效的办法是在学生刚接触每一个新字母时,教师就应当挂出字母卡片,让学生仔细地观察卡片上的字母,聆听教师的讲解,弄清楚什么地方起笔,什么地方收笔,几笔写成,占哪几格等书写要点;接着,要求学生全神贯注地注视着黑板,看教师的示范,然后跟着教师一边用手指同步书空模仿,一边说出笔画的名称,使每个字母的笔顺和笔画都在学生的脑海中留下一下深刻的烙印;最后让学生描红或在四线格中仿写,教师要检查学生每一笔画是否书写规范、书写到位。在字母的书写阶段,指导书写字母的方式很多,值得一提的是教师千万不能忽略表率作用,凡有教师动笔书写的时候,如板书、批改作业,都务必一丝不苟。
二、重视语音教学,有效培养学生的良好语感
同字母教学一样,语音教学亦是整个英语教学的基础,是语言基础知识教学的重要内容。关于语音方面的学习要求,《英语课程标准》提出了明确的要求:“了解简单的拼读规律;了解单词有重音,句子有重读;了解英语语音包括连读、节奏、停顿、语调等现象。”概括起来,小学阶段的语音教学主要有以下四个方面的任务:(一)进行发音技巧训练,掌握英语发音方法;(二)正确认读单词,准确说出单词中的音素,培养学生的音位认识;(三)积累读音规则,初步掌握根据规则拼单词的方法;(四)进行句段朗读训练,形成良好的语流语调。语音学习的首要任务就是将音发准。要将一个音读准,关键是掌握发音方法。教学过程中,教师要注重发挥模仿的作用,既要对声音进行模仿,又要对口型进行模仿。发音练习应注重与单词教学巧妙结合,使学生形成正确的发音方法;同时,教师还要有意识地帮助学生总结、记忆读音规则,通过经常性的练习,建立概念,不断积累,有效地培养学生的语感。
语音和其他内容是紧密结合的整体,不能割裂开来,孤立教学;语音的练习与掌握还需要花费时间进行强化、内化。实践中,教师可以充分结合教材的要求,将语音教学不断融入教学的各环节中。语音教学的具体方法有:(一)结合字母进行教学;(二)结合单词进行教学;(三)结合对话进行教学;(四)结合语音板块进行教学。譬如“结合语音板块进行教学”,可以通过朗读体验,锻炼学生依据发音规则识读单词的能力。《牛津小学英语》教材G板块的语音教学内容由四个单词和一个句子组成,编者的主旨在于引导学生通过识读找出四个单词中相同字母组合的发音,并且通过一个图文并茂的句子巩固和强化对这个音素的掌握。在教学中,笔者不仅注重教给学生知识,而且注重教给学生习得知识的方法。在语音板块的教学中,笔者常常进行适度拓展,安排学生根据发音规则朗读相关单词或进行新句的重组。
此外,语音教学也可以结合歌谣板块进行教学,通过诵唱优美动听、生动活泼的歌曲、童谣,逐步培养学生的英语语感和审美情趣,还可调节气氛,激发兴趣,缓解学习疲劳。

一、让学生积累词汇和短语,扩大词汇量
积累从认识开始,“筒里无水,袋里无米”必然是“巧妇难为”,要改变这种局面,就必须强化读和背,只有读、背时的孜孜不倦才有写作时的挥洒自如。那么词汇就是写作的基础,词句与段的关系就好比砖瓦与房子的关系,也就是说没有丰富的词汇,就难以下笔。这就要求教师在平时的教学中做到:1.在授课中有意识的要求学生将一些优美的语句、段落反复朗读、背诵。2.要求学生将课外阅读过程中读到的妙语、佳句摘抄下来,并指导他们进行分类加工、归纳、整理、背诵。3.对于要求记忆的课中的生词、短语要定时进行测试检查。4.让学生掌握一定的构词方法,扩大词汇量。5.在教学中,重视生词、短语及句型的重现率,巩固生词、短语和句型。
二、重视语法知识,灵活运用句型
只有语法概念清晰,写出来的句子才能准确无误。因此,我们平常写作时,首先要求学生用英语译出要点,可以短语的形式,注意固定搭配、习惯用法,可以使用最熟悉、最有把握的词组和短语,然后连词成句,灵活运用“五种基本句型”,连句成篇。表达方式多样化,句子长短适宜,切忌都是长句或短句。尽量使用教材中的句型,遇到不会写的单词可以用同义词或同义短语代替。多进行一些句型转换的专项训练。如:我买这台彩电花了2000元。这个句子可进行如下训练:

这样训练有助于学生对句型的英语运用,逐步减少学生的语法错误,提高写作能力。
三、开展多种形式的写作活动,提高写作能力
1.改写,对课文进行改写,精选部分课文内容进行提炼,概括出重点,用自己的话将原文表达出来,培养学生的语言概括能力。2.自己写。在现实生活中有许多材料可供学生们写作训练,教师要充分利用现有条件营造写作氛围,如儿童节、教师节、新年之际让学生写贺卡等。还要让学生养成写日记、周记的习惯,多鼓励学生像英语报纸、杂志投稿。我相信通过多写多练,书面表达能力一定会提高。
四、丰富书面表达的批改方式,培养学生改错能力
1.面批面改。教师当面给学生批改,不但能够帮助学生及时知道文章错误的所在,还能帮助他们找出错误的原因及如何改正。2.自批自改。指导学生掌握自批自改地方法,一般从内容、结构、语言三个方面进行批改,努力引导学生把繁琐之处改的简单些,把模糊之处改的清楚些。把呆板之处改得生动些,把可有可无的字、句、段删去,使文章简练些。3.互批互改。互批是对学生辨错能力的一种训练,教师可把范文写在黑板上,然后让同桌互换书面表达,对照范文进行批改,这样做能帮助学生避免和减少书面表达错误,提高语言表达的准确性。
五、大量阅读
虽然读不能代替写,但广泛的阅读是写作的前提和基础。阅读可以使学生开阔视野,积累知识,增强语感,了解汉英差异。阅读与写作之间存在着“阅读——理解——欣赏——借鉴”的关系,“读书破万卷,下笔如有神”说的就是这个道理。因此,阅读与写作相辅相成,教师在教学中指导学生进行大量阅读,并对于精品文段进行分析、掌握,多背诵一些经典文章,对于学生写作能力的提高大有益处。
