Shouldmen and women be equal? Different people have different ideas on this people think that men are superior to women, because men are physicallystrong. They are better at heavy labor work. And they can also carry on thefamily lines and hold the important positions. However, other people don’tagree on this idea. They believe that women are as capable as men.
Sometimes,women can even do a lot of things better than men, for they are more careful,patient, and responsible. Now there have been so many women leaders and womenscientists in the world. Accordingly, we shouldn’t look down upon , men and women should be given the equal right and chance to study and work, so that they can do some even greater contributions to our nation. As faras I am concerned, I am in favor of the latter.
Today, as the development of the media, people are affected by the advertisements greatly. When we are walking on the street, we can see the ads everywhere, they are spread by the newspaper, the radio and so on. The most obvious are the ads attached in the buildings. When we see the advertisements, we will be attracted by them and have the strong desire to buy the products. But the negative sides of advertisements will mislead the customers. Some products exaggerate the function, when people use them, they will realize that they are cheated and waste the money. The worst situation is that people use the fake products and get sick seriously, their health is under threat. So we must check out the advertisements before we buy the products. We should ask the doctor or see the customers’ real reaction.
What is the most valuable thing in one’s life? I think there would be different answer for different person. There is no doubt that money is a necessary approach to make your dream come to true. What we want to do with the money is of cause to purchase the most valuable thing in our lives, in other words, the dreams.
A house could offer you a place to live to make you feel warm and safe and a business maybe return you more money, but for me, a common person with no wild ambition but only like to live a common life and do some research that I am interested in, a house is more valuable than a I have a house even it’s small I will feel safe and I can do anything that I want to and needn’t to struggle difficultly to earn my living because the house could give me a free space that belongs to myself. But a business is no use for me because I don’t need much more money and don’t know how to do with it. In my own house,(On the Internet), I could read books, listen to music, write something and have a break in my bed if I feel tired. I can do cooking with my friends and watch TV together. It would be a happy time in a warm house. But what does a business mean? I think it would be communicating with strangers, going here and there and hardly stop, bargaining with that kind of artificial and sophisticated business men and so on. Maybe these are not the whole results of purchasing a business but in no way I could say I like that.
So I would like to buy a house if I have enough money but never mention to a business because the former is my dream but the later is no meaning for me.
Today, when I read the news on the Internet, I saw the very interesting news that caught my attention immediately. The news reported all kinds of food in the canteen of different countries. I thought about my canteen, which was complaining by students all the time. There were always students felt not satisfied with their schools’ canteens, so I was so curious about the foreign canteens. When I scanned over all the pictures, I was so surprised that I felt the food in our canteen was delicious. The food in countries like American and England had the meat and some dry vegetables, while the food in Asian countries like Japan and Korea look delicious. After seeing these pictures, I realized the food in our canteen was not that bad, we had the rice and the food choices were balanced, which helped to keep fit.
During the hot summer we often go to the department store to enjoy the air-conditioning, to window-shop,(The Causes of Traffic CongesUo, and to see people.
Taipei has a lot of new department stores throughout the city, and each one is a little different from the others. Some department stores are very large and some smaller. Some are quite far from our house and two are very close. There are a bowling alley, a children’s playground,Face adversity with a smile , a supermarket, and movie theatres in some large department stores. In a department store you can buy a box of candy, a book, a dress, a washing machine, an electric toy train, a big armchair, a diamond ring, a set of fine china, and hundreds of other items. Department stores make shopping easy. There are elevators and escalators to carry customers from floor to floor.
There are rest rooms and restaurants to help you spend long hours shop-ping in the department store.
Beijing has a history of over 3,000 years with a population of nearly 13 million and a lot of places of interest around it. In recent years, the city of Beijing has been advancing very quickly. You can see more museums, parks an shopping centers here and there. More and more highways and overhead walkways have been built up. What's more, a lot more buses which burn cleaner fuel, such as CNG or LPG, are put into use, to prevent air from being polluted. Water in the rivers is clean again. Wherever you go, you can see green trees, grass and beautiful flowers. All these make life in Beijing more convenient, pleasant and colorful. Beijing is still advancing to the bright future.

The public kept their eyes on this case, most people believed that the screenwriter indeed plagiarized someone’s work, because the story he wrote had some much similarity with another writer’s play. The screenwriter denied that he had copied other writer’s work. What he said made the writer very angry, the writer charged the screenwriter. Now the result came out, the writer won the case and the screenwriter had to apologize. Plagiarizing someone’s work is a serious crime, it is not respectful to others and steal people’s work. Such behavior should be condemned strongly.
